Infantry Brigade
– The Brigade, headquartered in Lafayette, is the largest element
of the Army Guard. It is one of the “Enhanced Readiness Brigades”
in the National Guard’s force Structure.

Engineer Group -
The 225th Engineer Group, headquartered in Pineville, is made up of
four combat-heavy engineer battalions, and one panel-bridge company.
It is the largest engineer group in the Army Corps of Engineers. |

61st
Troop command
- The 61st Troop command, headquartered in New Orleans, is a multi-functional
organization consisting of transportation, maintenance, medical, military
police and military intelligence units. |

204th
Air Traffic Services Group
- The 204th Air Traffic Service Group comprises all of the Guard’s
Army aviation assets and is equipped with the UH-60 Blackhawk, UH-1H
Huey, and OH-58 Kiowa helicopters. |

Combined
Support Maintenance Shop of Louisiana (CSMS-LA) - The mission
of CSMS-LA is to provide direct and general support maintenance to
all Louisiana National Guard units. CSMS-LA provides maintenance service
to all assigned equipment belonging to the Louisiana National Guard.
